If you need to fulfill your three-year seminar requirement or just sharpen your judging skills, mark your calendar for the following AMHA Approved Clinics.

AMHA Judges must attend the seminar in the year required, carry over into the next year for CBC will no longer be allowed.

AMHA Approved Judges are required to attend the eight (8) hour seminar. Effective 2004, AMHA Approved judges must be reviewed every six (6) years by the Licensed Official Committee while in attendance of an approved AMHA Judges Seminar (Ref: LO-020-B-4).

AMHA Judge Applicants must participate in an AMHA Closed Rulebook Test, Interviews, and attend the eight (8) hour seminar.

Detailed brochures will be mailed at a later date to all AMHA Approved and Applicant judges listing dates, seminars, activities and registration instructions.

The American Miniature Horse Association is announcing the 2008 International Judge's Seminar will be held on November 8 & 9, 2008 in Leusden, Holland. The International Judge's Seminar will be open to all persons interested in becoming a licensed International AMHA Judge and Miniature horse show exhibitors. The seminar becomes a venue for the improvement of judging and showing skills for all Miniature Horse owners and exhibitors. Please note: Advance registration is mandatory to reserve space, as each venue has limited meeting room space. To be guarranted a space all registrations need to be submitted by October 23, 2008.

An AMHA Seminar will also be offered in Sacramento California, March 13-15, 2009. The clinic will include testing, interviews, video judging as well as the clinic held on Saturday, March 14. On Sunday, March 15, an open seminar will be offered to AMHA members.

Carded Judges must attend the full seminar on Saturday, March 14. Six-year interviews will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. (please call Kristy at 817.783.5600, ext 307 to set up your interview).

Applicant Judges must attend testing and interviews on Friday, March 13 as well as the full seminar on Saturday, March 14.
